HAMDEN, CT - If you're a fan of craft beer than you need to be at Eli's Orange from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the kick off of "Eli's Craft Beer Project."

The event will feature brewers from Stratford's Two Roads, Oxford's Black Hog, and No Worries in Hamden.

There will be a craft beer tastings, a free buffet and live music.

In attendance will be Phil Markowski, master brewer at Two Roads, Eli's Tavern and Orange General Manager Kevin Fitzsimmons, and brewers from Black Hog and No Worries.

Fitzsimmons said the reason for launching the "Eli's Craft Beer Project" is to celebrate the great relationship between craft breweries and the restaurant group.

"At Eli's we support local, and if you're going to support local, who else would we want to highlight besides the amazing craft breweries across Connecticut," said Fitzsimmons. "That's why we're launching the Eli's Craft Beer Project - to showcase the importance of the growing craft beer industry across the state while providing our customers additional insight into the passion, care, expertise, and most importantly, the people that produce local brews that they drink regularly at Eli's restaurants."
